I tried shooting the sun with my AF Nikkor 18mm f/2.8D with no luck. Hopefully my pre-AI Nikkor will fare better. I bought another stand-alone app from the AppStore, called <em>Shine</em>. It makes fake light rays. Kind of a one-trick pony, with not a lot of presets or controls. The success of this particular effect is highly dependent on the photo (see window picture above). While Shine can emulate some of LensFlare Studio's effects, LensFlare Studio has far more presets, controls, and other textured filters (but cannot generate light shafts).</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
