k_michael
I just purchased an SB80DX to use with my F100 and SB28. I programmed the SB80 to work in wireless TTL mode and used my SB28 as the triggering flash. 3D was cancelled on the SB28 and the flash was set in regular TTL mode. My pictures do not appear to be properly exposed. Is placement of the slave flash a crucial part of the wireless TTL slave flash technique working properly? d_h6
Kevin, Few things you may want to check: - Make sure the SB-80DX is on AUTO wireless mode, NOT the MANUAL mode. (see page 86 of SB-80dx manual) - Make sure the SB-80DX is placed within the flash output range and the slave sensor is not blocked.
nana
Yes, placement does make a difference. Also turn on the beep indicator on SB80DX. This will give you a good indicator of proper exposure.
