olivier_reichenbach
A few days ago, a couple of members suggested our «bored» friend Joe Pelizza he should shoot for a whole year with one body, one lens and one type of film only. I thought this was a great idea, and it prompted a little two-fold survey: 1) If you had to shoot a whole year with one body, one lens and one type of film, what would they be? 2) Now, same question, without Leica (ha, ha... ) If you own only Leica, mention it, it'll bear an asterisk in the survey. al_kaplan1
I'm in a real quandry over this one. I could probably get through the year, if I had to, with a chrome M2 body and a 35mm Summicron. It's equipment that most people recognize as a "serious camera!".On the other hand, I can often work better with my CL with a 40mm Summicron simply beacause it looks like a "point & shoot" and nobody takes me seriously.I guess it all depends on whether it's a situation where I want to blend in or take control. I notice no essential difference between shooting with a 40 or a 35. Yes, I own some medium format stuff and a rarely used Minolta X-700.

carbonado
Simple: M6 TTL, 35 cron, Tri-X @ 800, HC-110 @ 70F 1:125, 12.5 mins. (Or Tri-X @ 1600, HC-110 for 25 mins) Although, I have toyed with the idea of shooting this year's PAW with Clyde, my beat-up Holga, and Tri-X. No Leica. But it seems a shame to let the M6 sit on a shelf for an entire year.
