Member69643
Matt - nice capture, the peak of action so to speak!
Bogdan - always love your street shots from exotic, far-away Istanbul.
Panayotis Papadopoulos - is that the hound of the Baskervilles? I love the how the dog adds scale, nice shot.

For me, non-exotic and not very far away this time. The old capitol on a sunny, windy day.

r1a2d3ok
Been enjoying watching the many beautiful birds and ducks in a pond by my house. This Ibis doesn't understand why the wood ducks don't want to play with him. tanglepixels
I've enjoyed looking at the images on this forum for over a year. This is my first attempt at contributing some of my own Nikon photos - these were taken on a recent humanitarian mission to rural parts of Honduras.

john_harper9
Our County Arts Council hosted a show for a young artist workshop where local professional wildlife artists provided instruction and subject matter for the student's paintings. Jonathan Shaw, a falconer as well as an accomplished artist, brought in one of his "models". When I first saw the falcon on the stand, I thought it was a still life (motionless) but Jon soon had the falcon posing for pictures with the artist and her work.

birdied
Matt, can't help but smile at your shot. Great capture!
Was out trying to find subjects to test my 500mm , as it just came back from Nikon after some repairs. The only subjects I could find were the little ones. So, the 500mm does macro.

wazungi
Good Wednesday Everyone, Ron, welcome to Nikon Wednesday; what a beautiful initial contribution! Earlier in the week, I came out of our local grocery to find this young woman relaxing on the hood of her car. I asked to photograph her, and she gave the slightest affirmative nod. I managed to get three quick shots before thanking her and leaving--she never spoke a word throughout. I had been shooting inside the store and didn't have time to change the camera settings, so I used the indoor settings.
