NullMcNullkins
I recently acquired a used F3. However, it is missing the auto exposure lock button. From poking around the NikonRepair Yahoo Group, it seems that there are two kinds of buttons that Nikon used, one that has a spring, and one that just pops into place. Is there a way that I could tell when the change to a spring button happend, and if my camera could take the push-in style button? If I could use the push-in style button that would save my wallet some abuse, but if it needs the spring button, I think I could live without that feature. dave_cheney
In Melbourne, I had my used F3 repaired for $40, which included the labour and the part. IMHO this is a very useful part of the camera and you will find it a much better camera to use with the AE lock. Cheers Dave
