I've shot an event last night hosted by our local theater. This guy was among organizers... he was sitting under a red "exit" light which was the main light in that area...

Always great stuff, these Wednesdays. It would be fun (and exhausting) to comment on every image, but I've been neglecting for a few weeks to mention that Bob Dein's street portraits are a consistent treat every week. Always engaging, and thoughtfully handled both in camera and in post.

Hi to all,
My first contribution to Nikon Wednesday! The recent Cherry Blossom in our Nation's Capital.

Some great contributions this week my favorite is Rod's cherry blossom. Someday I intend on making it to DC to see the blossoms
Kent your father looks in real good shape for 90 I wish that I had that much hair
My contrib this week is a peacock feather (obviously) this is pretty much the way that it came out of the camera not much post processing other than some crop... mostly creative lighting. The details really get lost when you step down size to 700

00baJo-533749684.jpg.9118f9c7b1399b4edab62994e07ef266.jpg

Good morning everyone. Great shots as per usual. Matthew- Great landscape. Shun - You must have been to Monterrey Bay. Almost looks like a wet Ewok.
This is a shot from last month on the second day of spring on a chilly morning

A good Wednesday to all, nice photos.
Below, a small selection of my "rescue" plants. The iron cross begonia to the left is the "grandfather of all", as it was OLD when I took it in. And to the right, one of its recent offsprings, born from a cutting last Summer. Center, a rescued violet from a local hardware store, showing its thanks by blooming beautifully.
