veit schenk
Hi
I'm toying with the idea of getting into LF and before buying, I'd like to try it out. I'm thinking of renting, but, since I haven't used LF before, it might be more effective to attend an introductory LF workshop. Is anybody aware of such workshops/courses/... in the UK?
Thanks
Veit

barry_wilkinson1
Hello, Andre & Linda at Inversnaid run a wide variety of residential workshops throughout the year. Andre runs a five day 'View Camera' workshop each year. I can recommend Inversnaid from personal experience (and no I don't work for them!). A great place to visit. paul_owen
Where in the UK are you based? The reason I ask is that there is an F32 run workshop in South Wales/Gwent area in the Spring of 2003. The F32 workshops are excellent for both newcomers and established LF users. I assisted at the October workshop at Tintern and was suitably impressed with the level and style of tuition. Feel free to email me off forum if you need any other details? Paul
emrys
Light and Land also run a large format workshop. Unfortunately, the first workshop in 2003 is booked out (I tried to get on it), but it's possible they may run others during the year. This link gives details about the workshop itself. I hope this is helpful.
