jim mucklin
Beginner question: Could someone point me to a site or explain to me what types of manual lenses (Nikon/Nikor) will fit my FE2, I am looking to add a few used lenses and want to make sure they are compatible beforehand.ThanxJim
david_kelly1
AI, AIS, AF, and pre AI lenses that have been AI-converted will all fit and meter properly on the FE2. AF lenses are the same as AIS lenses when mounted on a manual-focus body. Do not attempt to mount a pre-AI lens that hs not been converted: to do so can break the spring-loaded tab that connects the aperture ring on the lens to the camera's meter..... vedearduff
Jim, Keep in mind that the G series of AF lenses lack an aperture ring and are rather useless on a manual body. Vernon
