torben.palm
Hi Lil, I think I understand. But I assume that you down-scaled the picture afterwards? When I look at full res NEF files from the D800 in Capture NX2 the 25% is big that I only can see approx. half the picture on my full HD screen (1920 x 1080p).
Best Regards
Torben

liljuddakalilknyttphotogra
Torben - I'm in the same boat so I think you know what I mean. We can't ever see the "full" photo unless we have a screen as large as a wall I think ;-)
tombest
Didn't get out this week so I am posting from last week's outing at Fairchild Botanical Gardens in Miami. The 'remarkable' in this shot was the eminent storm and the unusual illumination from the west. Made the foliage look like it was on fire.

Kent Shafer
Torben, I did burn in the shadow under the car (to hide oil spots on the pavement). I also used Topaz Adjust.

marklcooper
Great shots as usual.
Wade Roth - your pic from Nelson Ledges brings back fond memories from the early- to mid-80's. I was a member of the Penn-Ohio Sports Car Club. We used to work the gates on SCCA race days. Got to meet Paul Newman there. Then there's the famous 'tire wall.' We also worked the 'Longest Day' motorcycle race - the 24 hour race in June. It really was a long day. After the Lowellville Hill Climb was shut down we had a horizontal hill climb at Nelson's. Eastern Buckeye Region of Porsche Club of America held mid-week high speed drivers schools several years at Nelson's. I've driven both the short course and the long course. Nothing gets your blood pumping like spinning out your buddy's 911 at 130 mph coming out of the crossover. Luckily, he was my instructor and was in the passenger's seat. He suggested I take the corner a little slower the next time around.

My pic is of members of the audience at an outdoor concert at Livingston House Park in Reynoldsburg, Ohio last Sunday. Albert Livingston improved and stabilized the wild tomato for commercial use.

JamieHarre
Nikon Buddies,
Today is an awesome day in Nikonland. Shout outs to Lorne S, Bob D, Ilkka N, Jeannean, jim i, Akiva S (1 and 2).
I hope that my photo meets the day's criteria of being "remarkable in its unremarkableness".
