richard_dulkin
Have the above two cameras and wish to hook them up through the HDMI port to an HDMI monitor so that as I take a picture of a model, she can see the results FULL SCREEN. I have both Camera Control 2 and Nikon View, but when I try either one I can't get it full screen. Is this just the way it is? Is there a better way, need different software? When I use either Nikon View or Camera Control Pro 2 the image is there but has additional info, other information, etc. that I really don't want there. Have been doing it through the USB port.
iversonwhite
I'm not sure why you need software between cameras and tv via hdmi. Just plug your camera into tv via hdmi and shoot. You may have to adjust your play back settings. I never have a problem with my d300 and HD monitor.
jack_fisher1
Ditto the previous answer fro my D7000. No software needed.
fedelucero
I suggest getting the HDMI cable instead of using USB+software.
peterafle
For the D90, it's all explained on page 147 of the manual:
http://www.nikonusa.com/pdf/manuals/kie88335f7869dfuejdl=-cww2/D90_en.pdf
You'll need a type C mini-pin HDMI cable, which is readily available cheap on the interwebs.
peterafle
If you're using Nikon ViewNX, just hit the "F" key when looking at the image and it should go full screen for you.
PR
