soboyle www.oboylephoto.co
Anyone know a source for a Fuji PA-145 instant film holder? It is the holder that accommodates the smaller 3.25"x4.25" film on a 4x5 camera. I believe the Polaroid 405 holder will work as well. Any thoughts? It's like they have disappeared from the face of the earth.
jim_momary
3 PA-145s recently sold on ebay, July 1 - 9th ... $100, $155 and $255.

They're kinda rare and people are gobbling them up to still be able to 'do the Fuji' ... :o)

Likewise, the 405 also, from what I've observed.

Jim
soboyle www.oboylephoto.co
$100 I can do -- $255 -- I didn't pay that for my entire LF camera/Lens!
Just getting into LF, and thought the instant film would be a good way to get feedback on what I'm doing (wrong) with the camera. Maybe not!
If Fuji sells the film, why the frig don't they still sell the holders?

cabbiinc
Uh, Jim. You've linked to the PA-45 not the PA-145. Huge difference.

http://www.japanexposures.com/shop/advanced_search_result.php?currency=USD&keywords=145 Here's a Japanese seller, but keep in mind that shipping costs are higher when going out of country.

I bought my 405 holder for $40 off of Craigslist. If the deals are out there you've got to be diligent to find them. But maybe they're all gone at this point.

jim_momary
Shaun -
Happy hunting.

Well, the info from ebay is correct, it was for the PA145 ... pricey as they may be.

So they do pop up, albeit not frequently.

(When you do search for them, mind the " - " in the name. A search string looking for PA-145 reads that as, "look for PA and do not include instances that have a 145 in them ". The + and - modify the search sometimes without the intent clear.)

Jim M.
