Ian Rance
The little Nikon 18-55mm DX VR lens also works well on 35mm film cameras I have found (when using a 16:9 format crop). I used it that way for this evening photo over the Brid valley in Dorset.

bms
Nice work everyone. Steven and Lorne, let's all say it: Aaaawww..... :)

I waited until dusk for the bright aggressive sunlight to be over for this shot, only to be bitten by several mosquitoes - despite bug spray - during its making. Who said flower photography was not hazardous?

With some shadow recovery, I was able to get this scene to look like what I saw this past Sunday morning. andy_chubb
A little bit of challenging light - a shoot of a hydraulic shackle and associated components the other weekend which needed to be on a bright-white backdrop but was situated in a large factory - combining daylight from the o/head skylights and strobes. I loved the chance to treat a 1-ton piece of metal as a 'model' - much easier to handle than most folks at an event.
