Nice work everyone. Steven and Lorne, let's all say it: Aaaawww..... :)

I waited until dusk for the bright aggressive sunlight to be over for this shot, only to be bitten by several mosquitoes - despite bug spray - during its making. Who said flower photography was not hazardous?

00aQ9t-468599584.jpg.ce1fd109c41736617ba3b228e25b7822.jpg

A little bit of challenging light - a shoot of a hydraulic shackle and associated components the other weekend which needed to be on a bright-white backdrop but was situated in a large factory - combining daylight from the o/head skylights and strobes. I loved the chance to treat a 1-ton piece of metal as a 'model' - much easier to handle than most folks at an event. D700, 24-70, lumen8 strobes

00aQAO-468605684.jpg.83dec6b4614e72fb4f09071287e9d5b4.jpg

Tony great B&W sunset.
Georg, I must be one of the few people in the world that soccer bores the pants off of, but I'm pretty sure that debagging isn't allowed in the rules!

Caught this surrealistic moment at a performance by CIRCA, an Australian acrobatics/dance troupe.

Always double ck your DoF when switching from people many feet away to "things" a couple of feet away! I forgot to do so, left the lens set at f/4, and now, even with some sharpening in post, I can't use this shot. Arghhh!

00aQBI-468627584.jpg.dd5fcc4f778006d205229948fbd4e411.jpg
