<p>Another great shot, Charlie! I like the tones, the exposure time, and the angle of the photo. As I've mentioned before, I am keen on whitewater and falls. Just lovely!</p>

Thanks Jim. I experimented with time to get the right amount of blur, but this is the only frame that revealed a creature.

<p>Jim, in black and white times studio photographers would routinely put a pink wash over sitters' faces in negatives so that they would print out less dark.</p>

Mukul, I have heard that it can be difficult to photograph dark skin accurately. If so, then this practice would be

understandable, perhaps. However, what you are describing sounds more insidious. As somone that loves the amazing

variety of skin textures and tones, I find this phenomenon distasteful. We are a ridiculous species.
