tom_mann1 Posted April 2, 2012 Share Posted April 2, 2012 <p>Are you sure you only need to lubricate it? Might it also need to be cleaned? I have two of the earlier model, the 3265. I needed to clean each a couple of times, but never needed to only lubricate them. I don't have it in front of me at the moment, but as I recall, there are about 4 star / <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torx">Torx</a> screws holding the two halves together. Because of the spring tension, it was a bit of chore taking it apart and getting it back together, but, if you are used to working with mechanical things, it can be done. For example, when disassembling and reassembling it, I think I left the ball attached to my monopod as a way to orient and apply pressure to that part. </p> <p>Tom M</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
