St. Croix, Virgin Islands

I will be travelling to St. Croix for a week later this month for the

Christmas holiday week. This will be my first time in the Carribean.

Any knowledge of interesting shooting opportunities on the island? I

do not have any underwater gear so you don't need to address the

snorkling/scuba opportunities for underwater photography. Thanks in

advance for any suggestions.

Mark, do a search on snap.com for St. Croix. Their web site has a sight seeing list of interesting locations. I've been studying up on some of the islands and am planning a trip next year. When you get back let me know what you find. Thanks

Mark,

I was in St. Croix for a day and what I focused on was the color of the buildings and homes. The water is very shallow and has a beautiful color to it so make sure you try and see that. I was in Fredricksted (or something like that) and walking around that area offers some beautiful compositions of the different colors all around you. Definitely keep your eye open for contrasting colors and lines.
