zenza_bronica
I want to make my digital workflow a bit faster in the future. So far I worked with 16 bit files in photomatix (I use mostly the fusion processing). Now I wonder if it actually is necessary to work with the much bigger files. Is the "technical" image quality better when using 16bit files for hdr/ fusion?
jenkins
Zenza you should always work with a larger file size where possible I would stick with 16 bit.
scott_ferris
Zenza,

i took a slightly different route, I kept the 16 bit to Photomatix but used small RAW (sRAW) files as a base as few of the images I am HDRing need big enlargements.
