keith_plechaty
I just purchased a 430 EX II and I noticed this strange mark on the plastic just above the battery door. It's nothing major, but just wasn't sure if this means it's defective? The flash is working fine, just being overly picky. Did anyone else notice a mark between where the two pieces of plastic meet up and right above the battery door?
Thanks!

JosvanEekelen
See the pictures on http://www.thedigitalpicture.com/Reviews/Canon-430EX-II-Speedlite-Flash-Review.aspx, there's a clear mark over there. I have no idea what it's purpose is though since I don't own the flash or its manual.
tallplumphotography
I'm guessing it's an alignment guide so the QC people can make sure that everything closed properly at a glance and that the assembly is tight.
