john_dowle1
I've just bought a Nikon DK-3 rubber eyecup for my Fuji GW690III but cannot fathom out how to actually fit the bloody thing onto the Fuji ? Any suggestions or advice much appreciated as usual.
John.
Ed_Ingold
When used on a Nikon, the eyepiece goes inside the DK-3 and a metal cup is used as a retainer. The entire assembly is screwed into the prism housing. The eyepiece shutter is used to keep it from accidently unscrewing unless in the closed position.

This suggests you should remove the Fuji eyepiece and see if it fits inside the groove in the DK-3 with the threads protruding. If not, you have a nice Nikon souvenir for the kitchen drawer.
jens_g.r._benthien
Good question. Can you remove the rubber piece and fit it over the ring of the Fuji eyecup ring?
------------------------------------------ Worry is like a rocking chair. It will give you something to do, but it won't get you anywhere.
john_dowle1
Thanks for the replies, I've been on a short holiday hence my late reply ! It looks as though the Nikon DK-3 won't fit on the Fuji GW690III after all ! I've tried every way I can think of but no joy ! well at least it was cheap !
