Tethered Shooting with Phocus Software

<p>I shoot a CFV-39 tethered using Phocus on a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.</p>

<p>No issues that I can identify. Everything seems to work as it should. Here's an example:</p>

I shoot always tethered and each sesion is around 1000 pics so...</p>

<p>If the computer has a problem, you're probably running windoze.</p>

<p>The solution is to get a real computer with a real operating system, like Mac OS X. <br>

That will eliminate the problem.</p>

<p>It's not a movie camera.</p>

<p>You're over-running the memory buffers in the camera and/or the computer.</p>

<p>It takes a finite amount of time to transmit the information over the cable, store it in a temporary file on the computer, process it, write it to the output file, and delete the temporary file.</p>

<p>I very much doubt it can sustain a throughput of one file every 30 seconds.</p>
