leighb
I shoot a CFV-39 tethered using Phocus on a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.

No issues that I can identify. Everything seems to work as it should. Here's an example:

- Leigh

leighb
I don't understand "gets crazy".

If the computer has a problem, you're probably running windoze.

The solution is to get a real computer with a real operating system, like Mac OS X.
That will eliminate the problem.

- Leigh

leighb
1000 shots in 8 hours???

It's not a movie camera.

You're over-running the memory buffers in the camera and/or the computer.

It takes a finite amount of time to transmit the information over the cable, store it in a temporary file on the computer, process it, write it to the output file, and delete the temporary file.

I very much doubt it can sustain a throughput of one file every 30 seconds.

- Leigh
