scott_ferris
tarek,

It really depends on how discerning your eye is and how well you deal with your colour management. The 6700D is a basic, with frills, six ink printer, well positioned for general household output and printing needs, the 9000 is an eight ink photo specific orientated printer with the keen enthusiast and semi pro in mind.

But, they both use the ChromaLife 100 ink set, so longevity and fidelity should be very similar, the tonal variation from the 9000 should be better though. Personally, I would choose on the feature set, if it is primarily for good quality images and straight connect to a single computer, get the 9000, if it is to be a general printer with photo duties and needs network connectivity then the 6700D is the tool.

Hope this helps, Scott.
