ben_nauber
I'm supposed to shoot the interiors of some houses for an interior designer friend. I haven't used my 65mm lens yet and I was wondering if it would wide enough for some close-quarters, indoor shooting. Or do I need to pickup the 50mm?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
frank_major
I suspect you'll need the 50mm (sorta like 24-25mm on 35mm format)
john_a5
I loved the 65mm for landscape but is probably a bit too long for tight interiors. Even the 50mm may be a bit long but it will do a very good job in many cases. (when I shot architecture professionally, I often used a 75mm on a 4x5 and even that could be a bit long in really tight spaces--equiv to 35-40mm on RB)
jim_momary
The below is from a copy of a booklet of the lenses available for the RB67 family -

Note the picture angle data.

Jim

jens_g.r._benthien
A Plaubel 69W Proshift with a Schneider Super-Angulon 5.6/47mm would deliver an even wider angle with the 6x9 format. The horizontal angle is 83,57° horizontal, not diagonal. I guess the above table shows diagonal angles.
------------------------------------------ Worry is like a rocking chair. It will give you something to do, but it won't get you anywhere.
jodys
The 50mm isn't quite wide enough for indoor architectural, but it's a fabulous lens.
