My favorite photo on the website is the girl hand holding the iphone/telephoto white lens combination while it is on "A TRIPOD!"
michael.gregory
How long before an entire episode of "House" is produced using Canon lenses and i-phone 4?

aubreyp
Speaking as the devil's advocate, it might come in handy for someone who has an iphone, but not a video-capable camera and wants to do a little video work.

jaydesi

Can I adjust the aperture of my SLR lens while I'm using the mount?

Depends on what lens you're using! Most old school film SLR lenses have an aperture ring on them. If you're using a newer digital lens then you're out of luck.

Yeah, that's a real selling point. Are there any EF-mount Canon lenses with an aperture ring? I doubt this is an FD-mount adapter.
danielleetaylor
If I'm correct there's an 11.25x conversion factor. Might be useful for Holga style spy shots.
William Kahn
@Jay: Yeah, the FAQ page on the site isn't very clear on the aperture issue, since the line you quoted seems to conflict with the statement that the adapter accepts all Nikon lenses, but only the Canon EF lenses. The site also seems to gloss quickly over the lack of AF capability, although the reason is obvious.

But the adapter does come with a special UV filter. Ooooh!
JosvanEekelen
Great, think what it will do with a 100-400 lens. Might add the 1.4 x as well :-)
