dave42
Hi everyone,

Has anyone done a comparison between the Shen-Hao PTB 4X5 Light Weight and the Chamonix?
I am looking for a new (to me) camera, so trying to do some research.
Thanks!
Cheers,
David
richard_f
I happen to have a Chamonix, and really like it. Never got to see a Shen Hao in the flesh, but it surely could have done the job as well. Jack Fleischer (sp?) on getdpi.com did an extensive review of the Chamonix a year or two ago.
I think it would be useful if you can actually see one, but I don't think the choice is that critical. You could talk to Jeff at Badger if you're in the US- he's a Shen Hao dealer but a straight shooter.
Two23
I have a Shen Hao and like it, but would be happy with the Chamonix too if I could get one in walnut. The Shen Hao is a bit less money, but the Chamonix let's you use lenses longer than 300mm. Is that a factor for you?
Kent in SD
