francesco_bertelli2
When i shop for a camera bag I rarely see the specs about the bag's weight on photo-websites...considering that i need to carrya super light 4x5 + lens + meter + carbon tripod, im trying to reduce as much as i can the overall weight... especially because i need it for short trip, wher ei dont need additional lenses or lot of film sheets...
so i was wondering if anybody produce special super-lightweight camera bags..

to be harcore I was even thinking of building somethign out of the IKEA blue bag...that material is great...with a bit of padding made of foam...somethign like that
parv
Some of the bag manufacturers|producers Kata, Lowepro & Tamrac do list the weight; don't remember about Tenba. The review sites|pages however are hit or miss.
francesco_bertelli2
I ended up buying a Thinktank sling 20....pricey but amazing... i can fit a TOYO 45CF + 6 holders + meter+ tape+ box of 25 films + changing bag small an di can attach my CF tripod on the side...and it looks really reliable... it weighs 1.1 kg... fair enough considering that it feels really protective not flimsy like chraper choices..
