sem_svizec
The D300 doesn't have the same connection as the D90. But there are devices for the D90, both GPS modules and small bluetooth dings that connect to external BT GPS modules. Some have specific angled connectors for the D90 due to the awkward plug location which is prone to breaking internally upon abuse.
Btw my BT GPS has mini USB but for power only, no wired output.
Some are happy with a GPS logger on the phone, then geotagging photos using ViewNX or 3rd party apps. Mind any 3rd-party app writing something to EXIF (geotags, titles, star ratings, tags etc) will cause VNX /refuse/ to display almost any metadata. And VNX does not read the logs made by my favourite app, which are perfectly legible by Google Earth.

Works great.
http://www.dawntech.hk/di-GPS/pro_1.htm
They have a model that supports the D90 http://www.dawntech.hk/di-GPS/purchase_USD.htm that runs about 118USD plus shipping.

zane_lam
Reviews might not be accuate and reviewers might be paid for untrue reviews. Dun trust all reviews u read.

I am using the EasyTagger Basic which have not failed me yet, provided the satelites are not cranky when I am using them.
