marlo_. Posted November 15, 2002 Share Posted November 15, 2002 I've read he mainly uses a 28mm with fill-in flash...invariably B&W film...another "I only see in B&W" type photog. His work on the Japanese Yakuza is great...more recent work in India I found less inspiring...but hey, that's just me. His set-up/technique didn't seem to yield the same sort of insight into his subject matter as, for example, the Japanese work. Just not as visually dynamic is perhaps what i'm trying to say.
