85mm f1.2L will not stop down with new F-1

<p>My 85mm f1.2 L lens won't stop down with any of my New F-1's. It stops down fine with all of my A series and T series camera bodies. Is it a repair issue? I do use DoF preview so it is something I need to resolve.</p>

<p>My 85mm f1.2L stops down fine using the DOF preview button with both my F1Ns. Can't offer any insights beyond that. (You didn't mount it with the lens on 'A', did you? Noddy question, I know, but worth asking).</p>

<p>By the way, do you mean that it doesn't stop down when you depress the DOF button, when you shoot a frame, or both? </p>

<p>From what you describe, it sounds more like a problem with the body than with the lens, given that the lens stops down fine on your other bodies.</p>

<p>I guess its simply a false operation. Are you mounting the lens on body when the stop down lever is pressed? (a red line will be shown on lever as a warning)</p>

<p>The shutter should be raised when mounting a lens on the (New) F-1.</p>
