DR-6 on D700?

Yes! DR-5 would do but since I already have DR-6 which I use on a D300 I was wondering if there was a little attachment to do the trick and save me a few bucks....</p>

<p>Unfortunately, I don't know of an adapter to use the DR-6 on a camera with a circular/screw on DR-5 viewfinder.</p>

<p>You CAN add a DK-22 adapter to the DR-5 to make it useable on the D300 though...not sure how well it works, but I've got a friend that used this as his solution.</p>

<p>Just received the DK-18 along with spare DK-22's. Tried multiple times to connect any one of the 22's.<br>

If there is a trick to this please let me in on it..I would like to use the right angle viewfinder on all of my bodies.<br>

The set converts rectangular viewfinder to round..Almost positive the reverse doesn't exist</p>

<p>Nikon has so many eyepiece adapters, things can get a bit confusing...</p>

<p>I believe the DK-18 would be used on any Nikon camera with a 22mm thread to convert it to the standard thread for Nikon VF accessories.</p>

<p>The DK-22 adapts the "Square" VF Nikon uses on DX DSLRs to the standard Nikon thread used on their VF accessories.</p>

<p>You should not need to use both the DK-18 and the DK-22 at the same time.</p>

<p>Actually why not just get the DR-4 it fits directly onto the D700...but needs the DK-22 to adapt to the D300..Got mine less the DK-22 for under $80 on KEH..They graded B but easily one possibly two grades higher..</p>
