peter_schaible
Can anyone recommend a wireless, radio remote-control shutter release for use with the K7?
Thanks in advance for your good advice.
lee_w2
No doubt everybody has a favorite but after going through a couple different dedicated shutter remotes, I now use the Cactus v5 transceivers since they work as radio flash remotes also as well as high voltage filters for old flashes. Lots of functionality for the price.
michael_elenko
http://www.shop4tech.com/item9793.html?r=500 This one is available from many vendors, often for just a few bucks including shipping. It works with many brands of DSLRs. I have half a dozen of 'em, one for each bag and for when I lose them. Probably cheaper than replacing the battery. peter_engel1
I have used the YongNuo. Works up to 200 ft. The directions leave some thing to be desired but play around with it and it works.
peter_schaible
I have a couple of these, too, Michael. They're infrared, not radio controlled. Good for only six or eight feet.
I've bought the Promaster System Pro Professional Wireless Shutter Release. Works up to 100 feet. Very pleased with it.
-- Peter
