sjauch
Hi, I am trying to find a way to store my bay1 filters. Since the leather isn't a good way to keep them. Anyone's info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve
jerry_lehrer
Steve I have stored Rollei Bay I and Bay III filters in their original leather cases for up to 30 years with no derogation. Why are you anticipating a problem? Jerry
sjauch
I've heard that the leather is not good for the glass. I think it has to do with the chemicals that are used in tanning the leather. It can affect the coating. Steve
pc1
you can always put each of them in those little plastic zip lock bags , before you put them in their respective leather cases. i just have two filters for my rolleicord Vb,a UV & a yellow, got them second maybe tenth hand but they're in excellent shape ,wrapped in plastic then left in their leather cases probably for years. it will be ok , don't worry... cheers.....pc
