From Ny state so i tried to find a good shop to buy online out of

state to save tax...but bought some in state too

 

B&H-awesome/20 items all delivered as promised

 

onecall.com-very good, delivered as promised

 

ritz-prices high, wouldnt guarantee low price as promised-spent

little-delivered as promised

 

Uniquephoto-jurys out, made order supposed to be here in two bus days

 

Buydig/worldwide/Beach camera...yes they are all the same-Beach

bought them out over a year ago, I never knew until problem with

buydig and a call on my caller id came from Beachcamera cust

service/very interesting

 

anyway half of the order was delivered/even though I asked on the

phone if everything was in stock-they said yes/ I had to call back to

get tracking #-they gave it to me and said order was shipped-I asked

if all items were shipped,they said yes and there were no backordered

items...when package came...missing top item...I called them, highly

annoyed, they apologized and said they just got a shipment in and he

would overnight it to me, then Cust service called back and said

they were still on backorder...NOT Fun

 

 

Ill update my final opinion on unique and buydig/beach camera later

 

Bottom line is, if you are in US out of NY-buy from b&H no question,

 

for the rest of us..your guess is as good as mine -if you want to

save the tax(almost $300 on my total order.)

I have dealt with KEH on numerous occasions. They have always been great! Only problem I had was with a 4x5 film holder. (spring broken). Refunded price immediately. They really are great to deal with! Pete Harvey

Can anyone comment on J&R Music World? I once saw a Canon EOS 1v body advertised for $100 cheaper than B&H, but it seemed to be out of stock for ever.
