Except for the split image and microprism, are there any practically relevant differences between the 42215 and the 42204? In particular, are the peripheral parts of the screens the same with regard to brightness and contrast, and hence with regard to the ease with which off-center objects can be brought into precise focus?
Thanks!

Page 186 of the Hasselblad System Compendium says that the 42204 is a standard screen, and the 42215 has the microprism and split image. These are both Acute Matte D screens, so they are both equally as bright.

I had the 42215 and loved it. Super bright and contrasty. Night and day from the original mid-1970s screen. I believe both of these screens were made by Minolta under license from Hasselblad.
