PatB
Hello all,
Has anyone got an electronic copy of the Auto Extension Tubes light compensation table for RB and RZ?
The ones I have found on the web only go up to 150mm lens and I need details for 180 and 250mm with ext 1 tube. I have found some old links to Mamiya website with a pdf document but they no longer work unforuntely.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks
Pat
erie_patsellis
Roughly, 1 stop for 45mm tube, 2 stops for 82mm added to the scale on the side of the camera. The bodies focus extension is 46mm, so you can extrapolate from the chart on the side appropriately. Unless you're shooting chromes, that should get you a decent negative that will print easily. Otherwise it's time to do the math with the above numbers.

And here's the table posted here previously that you referenced for those that can't find it:
http://www.photo.net/bboard/uploaded-file?bboard_upload_id=30554984
marc_batters
Try the Hasselblad link that O.G. posted some time ago. Half way down the page there is a calculator.
Just plug-in your numbers. Take the time to read the whole page though, good info there.
Once you have calculated various compensation factors for your lenses, write it onto a note card, and store with your camera for future reference.

http://www.hasselbladhistorical.eu/HT/HTComp.aspx#formulae
