aperfectshot
I have a DSRL Nikon D80 and a Nikon D300. My P5100 Nikon was lost and I AM LOOKING TO REPLACE IT WITH ANOTHER POINT AND SHOOT. JUST WANT TO HAVE THIS CAMERA FOR OCCASIONS WHEN THE OTHER TWO ARE TO BULKY TO CARRY. I AM LOOKING AT THE S6000 OR L110. WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST?
sjoerd_leeuwenberg
I suggest you turn off Caps-Lock.
What about a P7000 or Canon G11/12. Those are used a lot as 'second camera' for photographers.
elliot1
For casual use, I think you will be happy with either.
The S6000 appears to be a bit smaller in size if that makes a difference. The L110 is larger but has a 15x zoom Vs 7x for the S6000. IQ will probably be about the same.
errol young
I just got a 3100 for less formal use. I don't understand P&S cameras. Too much delay, hard to control.
Wouter Willemse
I'm no big fan of Nikon compact cameras. For the times I find my DSLR too much hassle, I have a Fuji F70 EXR; by now it would be a F80 EXR. I like the EXR mode for extra dymanic range, works well. The noise reducing mode works fair. Small camera, wide zoom range, very affordable.
On a higher budget, I would check the Panasonic LX5 or Canon S95.
