christina_tullo
hi. i have a question. basically im just getting into wedding photo, and the weddings i have shot in the past i have done proofing through the mail with dvds- i would send one to the customer, and the customer would write back to me and tell me which image numbers to make black and white and which to make sepia. i was wondering, is there such a thing as a gallery software that would let me post photos online and give the viewer the option of choosing black and white or sepia as an option as an indication to me? does such a thing exist?i tried to look a bit, but i havent found anything. i dont need it to sell prints for me.

thanks!
mcmanamey
check into smugmug. I know there's at least 2 others, but don't know anything about them (one is Zenfolio).

I do know that when a customer orders through smugmug, they have the option of choosing a few effects, b&W & Sepia, to be done (and this is done at the lab, so you don't have to, and they can see it before they order.
mccosh
Smugmug will also work if you prefer to do it yourself. Your customer can leave a comment on each print that they want altered. Or you can let Smugmug do the alterations and prints as suggested my Maria.
keithdunlop
RedCart is a bit costly on the front-end, but is far and away the best proofing and order management system I have ever used.
nikkimoore
Zenfolio will do something of the sort. I use it and love it. I don't do any sort of 'proofs' per se (I never let unedited photos out of my hands) but it should work just fine for your needs.
