Canon FD 50mm 1:1.8 lens

<p>I took apart this lens a few years back and completely forgot about it. Recently I stumbled upon it and can't remember how to put it back together. Can anyone help? It would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>1. another barn-door (close after horse stolen) example of the need to carefully document (not just 'remember') each step of the dismantling process. This is a lesson most of us have learned in the the same way as you. :)<br>

<p>throw it away and buy a new one. They are to cheap to waste an hour of your life on IMHO.</p>

<p>On the other hand they are so cheap that it is worth using this one to practice on in case you ever have to perform the same operation on a more expensive Fd lens.</p>

<p>If you can't put it back together, finish disassembling it and you now have several high quality magnifying glasses.</p>
