F-1 Dioptric Lens

These half-increment diopters are harder to find. I wonder though...many Nikons used round eyepieces, for which dioptric adjustment lenses were made. KEH has boatloads of 'em, priced less than the Canon pieces.
A good old-school optician could also craft one, with anti-reflective coatings even!

I know I mentioned this before but I had Ken Ruth at Photography On Bald Mountain in Davenport, CA take the glass out of a Nikon diopter (FE/FM etc.) and transplant it into a round Konica eyepiece for the Autoreflex T/A series. The Nikon diopters seem to be the most plentiful and least expensive. The round Canon diopters fpr the F-1 cameras are more rare.
