I started a weekly photo newsletter massmail yesterday mainly for a 3 years old girl of one of my close friends about my daily "adventures". I took the ferry over lake Zurich for some computer work at a clients house and took the Super Takumar 35mm F2 and the SMC Takumar 85mm with me for a 2 prime lens setup. Passed a harvest market with an interesting exhibition about the old times and met a friendly and decorative dog later :-)

00XDh9-276921584.jpg.b3a694ada8a6b244fba4d0f201376196.jpg

So I used the marshy smooth area for the mountain/clouds reflections instead of the blown out lake.

#1 American Friend On ChopSticks
A wonderful and extremely bright colleague of mine always enjoy Chinese food. I thought of my younger boy who is also left handed. I am right handed and I have a very difficult time in showing my son how to use chopsticks on left hand.

#2 Yashica Mat-124g In Action

I shot through the 1st roll with Fuji Pro 400 color on a farewell party. It is way cooler than I thought on the experience. It works charmingly on focusing and metering. The crank is absolutely annoyingly funny. The hardest time is actually in the first time loading the film. Once I find which spool is the taking spool, things become instantaneously joy with confidence. Will see the 1st roll on Tuesday. I try hard not to have unrealistic expectations.

shot with Pentax K20D and DA* 50-135mm f/2.8 -- my best zoom from Pentax for events, portraits, and candid.

All those shots from Zurich that Markus has been posting got me thinking of Europe, and how much I miss visiting there. I went back and dug out a few shots taken with my Pentax MX and either an M 50 f/1.7 or an M 200 f/4.0, mostly on Ektachrome. These were "scanned" with a K20D and DA35 Macro.

Taken in Venice in the winter of 1980.

This next one was taken out the window of a train somewhere in central Sicily in June of 1980.

San Gimignano, sometime in 1979, from the top of another even taller tower.
