gary payne
Need some help here please, and apologies for the poor quality images. I captured these two images today outside Fredricksburg, Tx. The males were not at all cooperative. Can you identify the species of...antelopes, I assume? A number of ranches in the area have exotic game from Africa, and I have not been able to come up with a known image that matches. Your help will be appreciated.

photomark
Looks like a blackbuck antelope to me—it's from India mostly. People imported them and other non-native species to Texas for the purpose of shooting them. A little weird if you ask me.
amolkhedgikar
Yeah, these are black buck antelopes (Antelope cervicapra) from India. Castrated males or the sub adult males do not have the dark dorsal color. But they could have the full growth of the horns.
