dennis_ng
Just got a 203fe. I thought I have the 42219 but as there is no grid line, it does not look like it. It is also not 42210 as there is a split image in the middle. Not sure what is that.
It is a acute-matte D as it got two semi-circle on the left.
Just not sure what it is?
A not very good picture here:
/> Any advice would be appreciated.

q.g._de_bakker
It's (30)42215.

If you imagine a circle in the center, with the reference cross line's outer ends indicating the diamater, inside that circle is the area metered by the 203 FE.
dennis_ng
Thanks.
Is any implication to have this instead of the 203Fe screen 42219 and 42210? Meter affected or ...
Not sure shall I chase KEH on this or not.
q.g._de_bakker
It wil not affect metering. The meter in the 203 FE is 'below' the screen and does not use the viewfinder.

The (30)42215 was the screen Hasselblad put in all their cameras when last they sold V-System cameras.

You could try KEH, see if they will swap it against a (30)42210, which is the one that was supposed to be in a 203 FE.
But there's nothing wrong with the one you have really.
dennis_ng
Good. If there is nothing wrong, I would use it for a while. I may try to get hold an extra 42219 (with the grid line) as my original intent is when I bought this from them.
carlos_prado2
hello

If a 203FE has a focus screen with a large circle of dots and a cross in the center, what focus screen is this? is it the Acute-matte D?

q.g._de_bakker
42203, made for the 203 FE (the circle indicates the metering area of the camera).
Acute Matte, but unless there are two D-shaped notches in the rim, not Acute Matte D.

If there are two such notches, and the reference cross lines touch the circle, it's 42210: the same but Acute Matte D.
