keith_sanford
Can anyone tell me about the Nikon F50? Is it an oversees camera? what's the American equivalent? Why can't I find any specs? The one I just bought has a Sigma 28-105MM lens on it. It is in mint condition. Can you tell me the value of this outfit? Thanks for any information. cuadriello
the f50 is the n50 in the US, so if it says F50 it wasn't bought in the US or was bought grey in the US, nothing wrong with not having the American designation anyway. It was botton of the line when it was sold and the body only sells second hand for a bit more than £100 or £120 in the UK. No idea about the Sigma lens. I have the F50 it is ok although it doesn't show aperture/shutter speed on the lcd on the top screen which for me is annoying but it may be ok for many, also it doesn't have wheels to change aperture and shutter speed, but it does all the basic stuff and the metering system is very good. You can find all info you want about all Nikon cameras here : http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/companies/nikon/htmls/models/htmls/slrmain9197.htmyou can also spend 20 second in Google to find it...
