andrew_miller11
I moved to NYC this summer, manhatten, upper west side to be specific. I have no idea where to go here, new to this place. Can you guys recommend a good site, or specific great places to purchase the cheapest or best film, slide and bulk b&w and buy. Places to develop too. Also if anybody knows super8/16mm movie places to buy film/develop. Thanks!
andrew_miller11
I am always looking for projectors or super8/bolex cameras as well, any areas with good pawnshops/flea markets/used stores?
henryp
B&H Photo has Super-8 and 16mm movie film. You'd have to check the used dept periodically to see if any movie cameras have showed up. We're on 9th Ave between W33rd and W34th Sts. We're a block from the A, C, & E subway lines.

Henry Posner
B&H Photo-Video
Henry Posner B&H Photo-Video
brien_szabo
B&H - it's the best, most reliable store around the city if not the country. Not always the best price but always competitive, great service. I do 99% of my photography/video shopping through them.

waite_watson
What about regular (double 8) movie film/processing? is it still available anywhere? I've got the movie camera my parents used to make home movies of me when I was kid & now I've got kid's of my own. I'd love to run a 50' roll of film through it of them. Just for the heck of it.
