Achieving a cold look in Photoshop

<p > I stumbled upon an image taken by Andrea Joki, it is the Photoshop effect that I am after, displayed at <a href="http://www.designaglowblog.com/?p=702">http://www.designaglowblog.com/?p=702</a> <br />the title is “ Version 1 Sultry”. A layermask is used and the highlights are selected, after that the layermask is inverted, and that is something I can not achieve. Can anyone help me with this look?</p>

<p>it says on the description that yellow hues are added and colors are modified as well. did u do that?</p>

<p>seems a fairly simple color mod to do..i created a preset like this in lightroom. not quite the same but somewhat similar.</p>

<p>Nik color effex pro can do all those versions with filters, by using layers you can adjust the opacity or erase to taste........easy peasy.</p>
