Let's not get overly sarcastic, gentlemen. Leica has to sell a certain number of cameras in order to keep the production line humming and the R&D department employees enthusiastic. The nice thing about the New Yorker demographics is that it's indicative of people who will assure a nice supply of really clean "users" about 10 years down the road, and a fair supply of collectibles also.

I wouldn't count on it Al. Rich folk never sell off any prized

possessions. It defeats the purpose of amassing material symbols of

wealth. I use to go to Estate sales in Grosse Pointe where some 100 year

old Dowager had passed away, leaving behind stuff from the 1930s that

looked like new. Never found a Leica though, Estate sale managers know

what Leicas are worth.
