Bronica GS1 AE Rotating Prism: "S" or "A" setting?

<p>Just got one, without instructions. My regular AE prism doesn't have the "S" or "A" switch, so I'm not sure what this is all about. Does it refer to Spot vs. Averaging mode? If so, any idea what area the Spot would cover?</p>

Just flicking through my manual, A=Average Metering Mode and tapers outward in sensitivity from the centre. It's not centre-weighted a la Nikon, etc.<br>

S=Spot Metering Mode and "... the area measured in this case is about the size of the circle in the centre of the focusing screen."<br>
