picturesque
Time to upload one recent image for show and possible critique. Make sure it is 700 pixels or less in width - AND - make sure to enter a caption in the caption box on that page where you've uploaded. Some details about the shot would be helpful.

By posting - you agree to allow your image to be chosen for discussion and critique for the week. One will be chosen at random. This is not a contest - but simply an image that we'll discuss. Positive as well as constructive suggestions are what will occur. HOWEVER - IF you wish to post your image but DO NOT WANT to be considered for critique - please say so in your caption. Images that show as a link will be deleted and you'll be asked to re-post.

Newcomers and Pros are both welcome to post in this thread. The thread will be closed late on Tuesday. Look for the choice on Wednesday. Please do not start the critique in this thread ;-)

dawn_tyler
A wedding on a really dreary February afternoon, it was pelting on and off with hail. And it was around 3:30pm in the UK, so the sun was fast disappearing! But this was captured just in the nick of time I think, they were a bit cold, bless.

Canon EOS 450D - 17-70mm 2.8-4.5 - f5 - ISO 200 - 1/80 - No Flash. Post Processing was actually quite minimal for me! Sharpening up, boost of colors, and darkened edges slightly.

mgk1966
Sloppy, I know. But rather than post my best work, I thought I'd post one that was a struggle. In this case, time was ticking, the space was tight and many of the guests didn't speak english. Should be plenty of fodder for comments.

theresa_skutt
This necklace was being presented to her as a tribute to her late father. When her mom told her that, she hung her head and cried. Here is her mom getting ready to put it around her neck. Very emotional.

katiekat555
Getting Ready - Sony A900 24-70mm - post processing in lightroom as room had greenish tinge so thought would bring it out. Think it has a dreamy quality to it!
