Concentrate on need clean simple compositions if you are doing posed shots you can move people into better light. Shoot a mixture of candids and posed shots. Try and spend some time with the B&G to shoot some nice portraits. Look at lots of wedding magazines and fashion magazines to get some ideas. Past the age of 6 'my friends made me do it' just isn't a good argument. Take responsibility for being the photographer and the ensuing results or simply decline.
