MAMIYA SUPER LENSES & RB67

Do the lenses from the 6x9 Mamiya Super 23 and Universal cameras function on the Mamia RB/RZ? I am

thinking about getting involved in the Mamiya MF equipment and I am exploring the possibilities.. Thank you in

<p>Nope. Universal/Super, RB, and RZ all use different mounts. RB can be used on RZ, but RZ cannot be used on RB. Universal/Super can't be used on RB or RZ.</p>

I have a chance on a Universal with a 100mm 2.8 lens and a couple film backs. I just wanted to know how modern I could take the system if I got hooked on it.</p>

<p>That combo is how and why I entered the world of 6x9 Mamiya Press...go for it.</p>

<p>You can use the Universal backs & back accessories (spacers, focus screens etc.) on an RB67 via a Mamiya P-adaptor, but that's as far as the cross-compatibility goes.</p>

<p>Ditto what Louis said. 6x9 negative, top quality lens, reasonable prices today. Straight forward mechanicals, rock solid, not much to break.</p>
