matroskin
i use manual camera (i dare not to say the name here, though ;) ) and thus 100% of photos are manual focus. they work out quite well too - http://mooostudios.com/county_fair/county_fair.htm
tom_burke3
Photos taken with Canon EOS: 100% AF
Photos taken with Leica M6: 100% MF

The latter is about 5% of all the pictures I take. It's nice to use the Leica occasionally.
yeknom02
For any staged shot, I take the autofocus off and take the extra time to really fine tune the focus in live view. I leave the autofocus on for all street/quick-shoot photography, which is maybe 70-80% of what I do.
So the answer to your question is 20-30%
g dan mitchell
I'm a pragmatist about these things - it depends on the shot, on the situation, and on the lens I'm using.

If the shot is one in which absolute focus is a truly critical thing (and it is not always the most important thing), and I'm using a lens capable of very high resolution, and I have sufficient time to work slowly and methodically (and one does not always have such time) I like to use Live View to nail the focus and to carefully preview DOF.

I virtually never use the viewfinder screen for manual focus. Frankly, in almost all cases the AF system will be better and more consistent.
