4x5 lens

If you have the space and if the enlarger will go high enough, go with the longer lens. It will have more even coverage across the negative. When I printed in the darkroom, I used a 105 for 6x6 and 6x7, and a 150 for 4x5. I agree with L G, the Componon-S is a superb lens as are the Nikons and Rodenstocks, especially the Apo-Rodagons.

For years I used a 210mm Schneider lens on an Elwood 5x7 enlarger, which also had a 4x5 holder. I really liked the 210 on 4x5 because of the coverage; there wasn't any fall-off at the corners at all. The lens also worked great on 5x7, so it had coverage to spare.

I also think that a 210 will give you less grief as far as aberrations and whatnot are concerned, because your image is more towards the center of its field.
